How the monitor works

Nothing to install; the address of your site is enough.

    Every 5 minutes we open your site

    From our server we load your page as a visitor would. You can change the interval to 15 minutes, an hour or once a day.

    We confirm the outage

    When the page does not load, we try again, then once more through a server in the Czech Republic, because some hosts block connections from abroad. One hiccup does not wake you up.

    We e-mail you

    We tell you since when the site is down and why, what to try and who to forward it to. No web developer? Click We will fix it.

What we watch

A server outage, an expired certificate and an unpaid domain: these three are why websites stop working most often.

  • Availability

    Whether the page loads without an error. A server error, access denied, a redirect loop or a server that does not answer all count as an outage.

    An e-mail within minutes of an outage, and another when the site is back

  • HTTPS certificate

    It makes the browser show a padlock next to the address. When it expires, browsers warn your customers the site is not safe, and most of them leave.

    A warning 14 and 3 days ahead

  • Domain

    If nobody renews it, the website and the e-mail on it stop working. Registrar reminders tend to end up in spam or with a former web developer.

Questions

Who is the monitor for?

Business owners whose website earns money or brings customers: online shops, tradespeople, clinics, restaurants that take bookings. Nothing to set up on the server, no technical knowledge needed.

When does the monitor say a site is down?

When the page does not load the way a visitor would see it: the server does not answer, returns an error, the domain does not work or the HTTPS certificate is invalid. A page behind a password counts as down too.

Can I monitor more than one site?

Yes. Each extra site costs CZK 99 a month and is added with one button; the difference is charged with your next payment.

Can I try it for free?

Buy the full report of a website and we monitor that site free for a month. Five days before the end we write to you, and you carry on only if you want to.

How do I cancel?

In your account, under subscription management. The monitor runs until the end of the paid period and your outage history stays.
